“The hedgehog house” storytelling

Thursday 27 November 2025
Biblioteca de Can Casacuberta, Carrer de Mossèn Anton Romeu, Badalona, Spain
Diputació de Barcelona (organization)

A tender and funny puppet story to talk about peace, conflict, displacement, solidarity, and the risks and beauty of life. With winter approaching, a hedgehog family leaves their home and sets off through the forest in search of a new refuge. But looking for a home is not easy, and the hedgehog family will reject offers from the mole, the stork, and the squirrel. Finally they find a metal home abandoned by humans, without realizing it is a military tank. “The Hedgehogs’ House” adapts Angel Domingo’s story to talk with children about the right to safe housing and asylum.

Target audience: children from 6 years onwards.

Duration: 1 hour.

This event will be hosted in collaboration with Xarxa de Biblioteques Municipals Badalona.
