Film Screening Debate: « Femmes des Terres »

Synopsis: « Femmes des Terres » (Women of the Lands) is a documentary directed by six agronomy students during their gap year, sharing the life stories of peasant women, farmers, and indigenous women across France, Togo, and Bolivia.

Across the globe, « Femmes des Terres » gathers the experiences of women living in vastly different cultural and social contexts who nevertheless share common commitments. Thus, this documentary examines how collective organization among women amplifies the impact of their struggles, promotes their autonomy, and provides a space for support.
