Book club: Viatge al país dels blancs d’Ousman Umar

The book explains the hardness of the author’s journey from Africa to Europe, recounting the difficulties, dangers and obstacles he faced during his journey. It also describes the author’s childhood in Ghana, bringing us closer to his culture and his life before embarking on the journey to Europe. The book reflects on the experiences of racism and discrimination that the author experienced both on his journey and upon arriving at his destination and highlights his strength, perseverance and resilience to build a new life.
