Book club: Dreaming of peace: a female look at the new Afghanistan of the Taliban / Nadia Ghulam

The book recounts how in August 2021, Afghan storyteller and activist Nadia Ghulam, seeing the Taliban advancing through Afghanistan, begins to move desperately to help her family and narrates the situation they live in during 2021 in Kabul. The author also reflects on the life she had to abandon when she was only 21 years old and had to pass herself off as a boy for more than a decade and how this has been shaken again with the return of the Taliban.

This event will be hosted in collaboration with Xarxa de Biblioteques Municipals Rellinars.
