« 2015: trains are stormed by refugees. I connect these images of people fleeing to my own story: I was seven years old when I crossed the border on January 23, 1965, in Hendaye. In my memory, there is no trace of my arrival in France. How can one recount an event of which one has no memory, except by seeking our story in that of others? »
