Screening and discussion – Women of the Land

As part of the Alimenterre Festival, please join us to discover the film « Femmes des Terres » together, then to exchange and discuss the questions raised by the documentary.

Femmes des Terres is a documentary made by six agronomy students who, during their gap year, share the life stories of women farmers and their ancestral traditions, between France, Togo and Bolivia.

Across the world, Femmes des Terres gathers the experiences of women living in very different cultural and social contexts, yet who share common commitments: the documentary looks at how collective organisation among women amplifies the reach of their struggles, fosters their autonomy and provides a space of support.
