II Llobregat Forum for Global Justice: “Economy and Democracy. Women Who Push”

Within the framework of the JUSUR Marrakech municipal cooperation program, the Baix Llobregat Network will organize the II Llobregat Forum for Global Justice, entitled “Economy and Democracy. Women Who Push.”

The objectives of this meeting are:
– To take stock of the learning and achievements obtained by the Baix Llobregat Network, within the framework of the JUSUR Marrakech program, which for 15 years has strengthened policies on gender equality in Morocco;
– To promote the creation of spaces for exchange and reflection among political representatives, social movements, and civil society, specifically women of Maghrebi origin, regarding the current economic and social situation of women, focusing on the Moroccan and Catalan cases;
– To address, from a community perspective, how resistance/resilience pathways are generated in the face of the need to offer alternatives to issues surrounding the quality of life of Moroccan and Catalan women.

The meeting will include the participation of a Moroccan delegation, as well as elected officials, human rights associations, feminist cooperatives, among others.
