“How can we understand what motivates humans to flee their country and those who come to their aid?”
Two authors, Troubs and Baudoin, accustomed to traveling freely, venture into a controlled territory: the Roya Valley. Between France and Italy, residents and migrants live, interact, and help each other. In exchange for a portrait, the authors ask a question at each of their encounters: “Why do you do this?”. The result is an initiatory tale, filled with humanity and solidarity.

The Improjection collective brings this story to the stage with a sensitive approach. The graphic universe of the graphic novel comes alive on stage and interacts with the text, music, and dance… A performance that bears witness to the reality of this valley, to the humanity of the new Righteous.
In the face of inaction, could these encounters inspire?

Performance followed by a shared soup to meet the artists
